Snow Hill Earns Clean Audit for FY25

SNOW HILL, Md. – The Town of Snow Hill has announced its results for the Fiscal Year (FY) 2025 Annual Audit.

Officials say the town received an unqualified audit report for FY2025. This translates to a “Clean Audit”, which is the highest level of assurance that certified public accountants can provide in relation to the financial activity, legal compliance and fiscal controls in reporting for the Town of Snow Hill.

“Our Finance Department has the highest quality of professionalism and performance in their efforts to make the town of Snow Hill an example of superior financial integrity,” Mayor Janet Simpson said. “Our auditors at PKS stated several times that we continue to achieve the highest level of auditing standards, giving our citizens confidence that we are managing their tax dollars well.”

Additionally, a Single audit was completed to ensure compliance with federal requirements. These audit reports are done to ensure transparency, accountability and compliance with high quality standards.
