MARYLAND. – Senator Mary Beth Carozza is giving an update on her goals for Maryland’s disabled community.

Senator Carozza says providing disabled Marylanders with the resources they need to thrive is a priority for her in this legislative session. She is urging the Maryland Department of Health to begin reform of the current system and make improvements.

“I really would like to give you an update on what we are doing to help our disabilities community. After Saturday’s meeting, there will really be a focus on reforming a really broken system when it comes to the delivery of services.”

Things are starting to heat up in the General Assembly as we inch closer and closer to Crossover Day.
