Scheduled Water Outage to Impact 90 Homes in Ocean Pines

OCEAN PINES, Md. – Worcester County officials are alerting Ocean Pines residents to scheduled water outage that will impact 90 homes in the area.

The outage, slated for Tuesday, Mar. 17, will shut off water services from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The Public Works Department will be replacing a failing water service main during this time.

Impacted homes are located in the following areas:

Both intersections of Moby Dick Drive and Seafarer Road, to the intersection of Birdnest Drive and Seafarer Road
All of Bayou Court
A section of Birdnest Drive, from house numbers one through 28

Following the repair, residents may experience brown water. If that occurs, allow the water to run for a few minutes until it becomes clear. If the water remains brown, contact Water and Wastewater at 410-641-5251.
