POCOMOKE CITY, Md. – Pocomoke River State Park will reopen to day-use visitors beginning Friday morning, March 13th.

This comes after several weeks of recovery and cleanup efforts from the recent winter storm.

A post from Maryland State Parks says significant progress has been made in clearing debris, repairing storm damage and making necessary repairs to the park’s power grid.

The campground will remain closed until further notice as staff continue cleanup operations to ensure campsites are safe for overnight use.
