Milton Man Indicted on Federal Gun Charge
LAUREL, Del. – A federal grand jury returned an indictment on Tuesday charging a Milton man with unlawfully possessing a firearm and ammunition.
According to the indictment, on Dec. 9, 2025, 34-year-old Andre Brickhouse was found in possession of a 9mm handgun with an obliterated serial number, a large-capacity magazine, and 21 rounds of ammunition. Brickhouse is prohibited from possessing firearms and ammunition because of a prior felony conviction.
Brickhouse is charged with one count of possession of a firearm by a person prohibited. If convicted, he faces a maximum penalty of 15 years of imprisonment. Actual sentences for federal crimes are typically less than the maximum penalties, but will be up to the discretion of a federal district court judge.
The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives Baltimore Field Division worked with the Laurel Police Department in investigating this case. Assistant U.S. Attorney Corey J. Hauser is prosecuting.
