Man Arrested on Drug, Traffic Charges after Caught with Fake License Plate
SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Police Department arrested a man on Sunday night after they pulled him over for driving with a fictitious registration plate.
At 9:49 p.m. on Mar. 8, an officer observed a black Toyota traveling on Norman Eskridge Highway with a questionable license plate.T he officer conducted a traffic stop and made contact with the driver, identified as Harold Coleman. During the stop, the officer determined Coleman had his license suspended, and was aware the plate was fictious.
A subsequent search of Coleman and his vehicle yielded a total of approximately 11.2 grams of methamphetamine in addition to drug paraphernalia.
Coleman was arrested with possessing a tier two quantity of a controlled substance, in addition to related drug and traffic charges. He was arraigned and issued an unsecured bond for $16,000.
