Drug-Related Search Warrant in Dagsboro Leads to Four Arrests
DAGSBORO, Del. – The Delaware State Police (DSP) conducted a search warrant on Monday that lead to four arrests in connection with distribution of illegal narcotics.
On Mar. 2, members of the Sussex County Drug Unit, Sussex County Governor’s Task Force, and the DPS Special Operations Response Team executed a search warrant at a property on the 27000 block of Dagsboro Road. The search warrant was obtained following a drug investigation of 48-year-old Dominick Drummond of Dagsboro. During the search warrant, Drummond was seen discarding narcotics into a fire pit on the property. Drummond and three other people were detained without incident.
A search of the property led to the discovery of the following items:
- Approximately 122.02 grams of cocaine
- Approximately 38.6 grams of crack cocaine
- Stolen 9mm handgun
- Multiple rounds of 12-gauge ammunition
- Drug paraphernalia
- $16,030 in suspected drug proceeds
Drummond was arrested on a litany of felony drug and gun charges, including two counts of manufacturing, delivering, or possessing a tier three controlled dangerous substance. Two of the three people detained were charged with misdemeanor offenses and released on their own recognizance. Their identities have not been released at this time.
