Driver hospitalized after early morning crash

HILLSBORO, Md. — A driver was taken to the hospital after a single-vehicle crash with entrapment early Saturday morning in Queen Anne’s County, according to the Queen Anne-Hillsboro Volunteer Fire Company.

Emergency crews were dispatched around 5 a.m. Saturday to the intersection of Ruthsburg Road and Damsontown Road for a reported motor vehicle crash with entrapment. Initial reports indicated the lone occupant of the vehicle was unconscious and trapped inside.
