Salisbury Announces Reopening of Riverwalk Pedestrian Bridge
SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced the reopening of the pedestrian bridge at the Pohanka Riverwalk Amphitheater, restoring a key connection along the Riverwalk for residents and visitors alike.
The Riverwalk now offers a connection from The Ross to the Pohanka Riverwalk Amphitheater, the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel, and the Savour restaurant located at 300 South Salisbury Boulevard.
“We’re excited to welcome the community back to this beautiful space,” Mayor Randy Taylor said. “The amphitheater is an affordable, rentable venue that brings people together. We hope residents and organizations will take advantage of this unique setting for their events.”
Upcoming public events at the Pohanka Riverwalk Amphitheater include:
- Flying Ivories: Dueling Pianos, with VIP accessibility available on May 9 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- The Great Train Robbery, a free event planned for May 22 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- Friday Night Live concert series, with dates to be announced
