WMDT’s Kindness Tip Of the Day for Feb. 18

SALISBURY, Md. – This week is Random Acts of Kindness Week from KindSBY.

In recognition, KindSBY is delivering items to local emergency shelters in the area for their Kindness in Action day. In the spirit of giving, today’s Kindness Tip of the Day, brought to you by Schell Brothers, is to give something to someone in need.

Especially during the colder winter months, something that you no longer need or can do without could mean the world to someone. Your donation can be big or small. If you see someone in need, offering them a snack or some food — a cup of coffee, even — can go a long way. Making the effort to check with your local food banks and shelters to see how you can help can make a huge difference.

You can also organize with your inner circle — your friends and family — or with your community, whether that’s your workplace, place of worship, or school to do a food or clothing drive.

You never know what someone is going through or why. Your act of kindness just might just be what they needed. It might make their day a little bit better, a little bit warmer and a little bit kinder.
