Wicomico Students to Take Part in Open House

(SALISBURY, Md) – Wicomico County students will have the chance to show off their skills this weekend.

It’s part of the annual SkillsUSA Career & Technical Education Open House.

Those in attendance will get to see demonstrations from students as they take part in SkillsUSA contests.

One of the open house coordinators says it’s a great way for students to show their skills to any prospective employers.

“They already have started and committed to finding their way in their chosen career pathways and to actually have an opportunity to highlight the skills that they have learned to potential employers is what is,” says SkillsUSA Advisor, Allison Cornish.

The Open House will be this Saturday, February 7th, from 8 A.M. to 12 P.M. at Parkside High School.
