Vehicle Fire Totals Car in Millsboro

MILLSBORO, Del. – The Indian River Volunteer Fire Company (IRVFC) responded to a vehicle fire on Wednesday evening.
At 6:42 p.m. on Feb. 25, crews were alerted to the car fire, located on Cordrey Road between William Street Road and Carlos Lane. Firefighters worked to suppress the vehicle fire in addition to providing traffic control and overall incident mitigation. The vehicle was in motion at the time of the fire, so notification to the Delaware State Police (DSP) was required. DSP is investigating.
IRVFC says that the vehicle appears to have caught fire on Cordrey Road while traveling down the roadway. The vehicle was fully involved upon arrival of emergency response teams.
