Two Displaced After House Fire on Naylor Mill Rd
SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Fire Department responded to a house fire in snowy conditions on Sunday night.
At 10:30 p.m. on Feb. 22, crews responded to a one-story home on Naylor Mill Road after an occupant reported a fire. A total of 25 firefighters worked to extinguish the blaze from the exterior of the house for 30 minutes.
The total damage to the house and its contents is estimated to be valued at $50,000. No injuries were reported with this incident, but two individuals were displaced.
The Office of the Maryland State Fire Marshal determined the fire to be accidental in nature, and the result of a failure of an electrical branch circuit near the home’s distribution panel.
