The Washington Jaguars get the win vs North Dorchester

PRINCESS ANNE, Md. – Somerset County action as the Washington High School Jaguars squared off with the North Dorchester Eagles on a cool Friday night.
The highly competitive matchup saw the Jaguars impose their will in the frontcourt. Early in the game, the Jaguars shooting the 3-ball and miss, but the high level effort allows them to get the rebound, and number 23 Torian Taylor gets the rebound and lays it in.
North Dorchester though put up a fight, Jayden Turner finds Jezeon Cephus in the corner and he makes the big shot.
Elijah Thomas is so good, he finds the open man here, as Nymein Sullivan hits the open 3 and it’s automatic. Yeah Elijah Thomas is automatic, he finds his spots on the court so and hits the layup.
Derrone Fraizer finds Thomas, and he makes the easy bucket for the record holder. This week, the honor goes to Washington High School senior Elijah Thomas.
He became the program’s all-time scorer and was honored at halftime of tonight’s game.

In the end, the Jaguar pulled away with the victory, defeating the North Dorchester Eagles 63 to 54, in a good Friday night battle.
