SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has announced that St. Peters Street will be closed for the rest of the week for construction work.

West Main Street and West Church Street will remain open, but motorists should expect increased traffic and possible delays in the downtown area. Construction is scheduled to be completed by Friday, Feb. 20. The closure is in place to support concrete improvements in the area.

Mayor Randy Taylor emphasized the importance of the project for the city’s economic vitality.

“Investing in our infrastructure is key to boosting business downtown,” the mayor said. “These improvements will make our streets safer and more accessible, creating a better experience for residents and visitors alike.”
