Seaford PD Arrest Man on Outstanding Warrant, Drug Charges

SEAFORD, Del. – The Seaford Police Department has arrested a man on drug charges and an outstanding warrant on Thursday night.

At 9:40 p.m. on Feb. 5, an officer observed a parked vehicle with a flagged registration for warrants on the registered owner. The vehicle was running and occupied by a man later identified as Aruis Cannon. Cannon was confirmed to be wanted and was subsequently detained. During a search of the vehicle, police recovered 14.2g of crack cocaine and 1.17g of suspected heroin, in addition to distribution paraphernalia.

Cannon was charged with fugitive from another state and related drug charges. He was arraigned and issued a secured bond for $38,500.
