Parkside finds sixth straight victory with dominant win over Pocomoke
SALISBURY, Md. – Parkside boy’s basketball turned in a dominant performance on Monday night, good for a 92-68 victory over the Pocomoke Warriors.
The Rams controlled the game from the start, quickly building a 25-8 lead by the end of the first quarter, with 10 of those coming from Javon Comegys who finished with a game-high 30.
Pocomoke managed to close the gap slightly heading into the break, trailing 42-30 with two periods remaining. But Parkside started the third quarter even hotter than the first, outscoring the Warriors by 14 to take a commanding lead into the final frame that they would not relinquish.
Beyond Comegys’ 30-point performance, the Rams found significant offensive contributions from Peyton Cropper (16 points), Zy’Mir Moss (15 points), and Joziah Sherwood (14 points).
After dropping three games in a row in January, Parkside has now won six straight to put themselves right back in the mix at the top of the Bayside South.
