One Airlifted after Domestic Assault in Tilghman

TILGHMAN, Md. – The Talbot County Sheriff’s Office arrested a woman in connection with a domestic assault on Valentine’s Day.

Deputies have arrested 54-year-old Audra Lee Williamson of Wittman on charges of second degree assault and reckless endangerment. Williamson was transported to the Talbot County Central Booking facility for processing, and was held pending further action by the courts. According to court documents obtained by WMDT, she was released after posting an unsecured $2,500 bond following a bail review on Tuesday, Feb. 17.

On Saturday, Feb. 14, deputies responded to Tilghman for a reported domestic assault. Prior to their arrival, a victim had been evaluated and flown to R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center in Baltimore for a head injury. Deputies contacted Williamson who advised that during an altercation, she struck the victim in the head with a cell phone. She was taken into custody.
