Man Convicted of 20 Counts Related to BayVanguard Bank Robbery
EASTON, Md. – The Talbot County State’s Attorney’s (SA) Office has secured a conviction in connection to the BayVanguard Bank robbery that occurred on Jun. 2, 2025.
On Friday, Jan. 30, 31-year-old Deondre Tammarce Williams was found guilty of 20 counts related to the aforementioned robbery. The verdict was delivered following a three-day trial, presided over by Judge Philip Cronan. Williams is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday, Feb. 9.
This case was prosecuted by Talbot County Deputy SA Joyce E. Jones and Senior Assistant SA Jennifer M. Wilson, with assistance from Paralegal Leigh Ann Adams. SA Joseph I. Coale thanks the members of all participating law enforcement agencies, and all members of the SA Office who worked countless hours in preparation for the case.
Williams, along with two accomplices, conspired and robbed a teller at the BayVangaurd Bank located at on Idlewild Avenue, stealing $12,000. Numerous tips and information were provided by the public, ultimately leading to the identity and arrest of Williams and his accomplices.
