First State Educate with big plans coming for Delawareans
DELAWARE., – First State Educate with some big plans to start the year, as they bring forth the Delaware School Board Index on the FSE website.
The index, allows for those interested in becoming a candidate for a local school board to have access to strategic plans, funding information, and other things in a one stop location.
Executive Director Julia Keleher telling WMDT, what does this mean for the education in Delaware.
“This information exists in different places, on school board websites, so on school district websites you can find some of it, on the state department of education you can find other information like the student achievement data – so what we want to do was bring all the information from different sources together.”
FSE is also hosting a Delaware Regional Bee on March 7th in Dover.
For the regional spelling bee, there will be a parent orientation on February 10th and February 17th both beginning at 6pm – via Zoom.
