Dover Police Investigating Armed Robbery of Vehicle

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that occurred in the early hours of Sunday morning.

Police say their investigation began around 1:21 a.m. after they contacted a victim in the parking lot of Wawa on North DuPont Highway. The victim reported that he was approached by four Black males with handguns while at a residence in the unit block of Ironwood Court. The suspects demanded he turn over his property, including his vehicle. After robbing the victim, the suspects fled in his car. 

Police say the vehicle has since been recovered. There are no leads to release at this time.
