Dorchester Co. Preparing for 1st Explore the Shore Outdoor Expo

(CAMBRIDGE, Md) – In Dorchester County, they’re getting ready to showcase all the Eastern Shore has to offer for nature lovers.

Several groups are putting on the first ever Explore the Shore Outdoor Expo in Cambridge this weekend.

It’s part of the year-long celebration of the state of Maryland’s 250th birthday.

The expo will showcase local businesses, different outdoor lifestyles, the taste of different wild game, and more, proving the beach isn’t all the eastern shore has to offer.

“So this is very, very, very much Dorchester County. It’s a one stop shop for the exploring the shore. And again, it’s celebrating America’s 250, America’s, turning 250 years old. So we are celebrating. This is one of our events.” says Dorchester Tourism director, Holly Gilpin.

The event will take place at the Packing House on Dorchester Avenue on Saturday, February 21st in Cambridge.
