SALISBURY, Md. – The City of Salisbury has begun construction of a combined restroom and pavilion at Waterside Park on Parsons Road.

“The Waterside Park project has been a long time in the making,” said Mayor Randy Taylor. “The Mayor’s Office is proud to have pulled this project out of the archives and breathed life into it! It will be a vital addition to the Westside/Parsons Road corridor, allowing a safe place for kids to play all year long.”

Construction began on Wednesday, Feb. 25, and is expected to last 150 days. During construction, no parking will be permitted on-site. Construction vehicles will regularly enter and exit the area, and motorists should expect possible delays on Parsons and Marine Roads.
