43rd annual Seaside Boat Show takes over weekend in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The 43rd annual Seaside Boat Show started Friday and continues through the weekend. The event is presented by The Ocean City Optimist Club, and allows for water and boating enthusiasts to meet and see over 350 boats, 150 exhibits, and 50 boat dealers.

Sport cruisers, boat trailers, canvas products and fishing gear was at the event, and so much more. Optimist Club President Christina Dolomount says this weekend is the best time to organize the event.

“We look for a little bit of cold weather to make sure people come off the beach, the boardwalk, and come to the show. Ocean City is known for a beach town, and a fishing town. This is the place to come if you are looking for anything that goes on the water.”

Admission is $10 and showtimes on Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Showtimes on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

All proceeds go to local youth programs.
