Two Smyrna High Students Arrested for Bringing Knives to School

SMYRNA, Del. – The Smyrna Police Department (SPD) arrested two 17-year-old students from Smyrna High School on Wednesday.

On Jan. 14, the students were contacted separately by the SPD’s School Resource Officer and both found to be in possession of a knife. Authorities say the students were immediately removed from the school, and that no one was harmed as a result of these separate incidents.

Both students were charged with one count of carrying a concealed dangerous instrument.  There were released pending a future court date.
