Three Arrested for Christmas Day Domestic Dispute
FELTON, Del. – The Felton Police Department (FPD) has recently arrested three individuals in connection with a domestic dispute that took place on Christmas Day.
At 3:43 p.m. on Dec. 25, 2025, officers responded to Peachtree Apartments, located on the 3000 block of Abec Lane, for reported physical dispute. Upon arrival on the scene, police contacted a female victim, later identified as 18-year-old Chelsea Yamilet Rivera of Dover. Rivera had sustained an injury to her face, and alleged that a male suspect, identified as 26-year-old Antonio Lamar Boyer of Harrington, had punched her after the two got into a verbal argument. Boyer fled the scene prior to police arrival.
A male not directly involved in the domestic dispute, later identified as 20-year-old Christopher Akeem Odums, also of Harrington, was at the scene when police arrived. He reportedly began arguing with the female victim which resulted in a physical altercation with police. Officers say Odums refused to comply with lawful commands and resisted arrest. He was ultimately taken into custody and charged with disorderly conduct and resisting arrest. Odums was issued a criminal summons and released on his own recognizance pending a later court date.
Felton Emergency Medical Services also responded to the scene, and determined Rivera needed transport to a local hospital for treatment of her injuries. Police say that prior to being transported and throughout the investigative process, Rivera acted disorderly and tried to fight responding crews. Police subsequently obtained arrest warrants for both Boyer and Rivera.
On Monday, Jan. 5, Boyer and Rivera were both contacted by Dover Police officers pertaining to a separate incident. They were both taken into custody when authorities learned of their active warrants out of FPD.
Boyer is charged with one count of offensive touching. Rivera is charged with one count of disorderly conduct. They were both arraigned and released on their own recognizance pending a later court date. Boyer and Rivera were also issued a no unlawful contact order with each other.
