Thousands attend funeral of Cpl. Snook

NEWARK, Del. – Thousands of people attended the funeral of Corporal First Grade Matthew “Ty” Snook on Monday morning.

The ceremony began at 8:20 a.m. with a motorcade which escorted the hearse to the Bob Carpenter Center. Afterwards, people filed into the arena for a visitation and the celebration of life.

Governor Matt Meyer made remarks, along with members of Snook’s family and fellow law enforcement.

The funeral concluded with a 21 gun salute and an aviation flyover.
