Sussex Tech Awarded Innovation Grant

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming out of Sussex Technical High School.

The school recently announced the receipt of the Innovation Grant from the Delaware Department of Education. This will support the integration of Geographic Information Systems into the schools Plant Science and Natural Resource Management Technology. By Implementing GIS, students will gain hands on experience with tools and applications that are currently used in the field.
