Somerset BOE Recognizes Newly Certified Educators

SOMERSET COUNTY, Md. – Tonight’s Good News, brought to you in part by Matt the Carpet Guy, coming from Somerset County Public Schools (SCPS).

The Somerset County Board of Education recognized six educators earning their national board certification.

The recognized educators represent the largest cohort of national board certified educators to date in SCPS. It’s one of the most rigorous and respected professional credentials in education, and it’s awarded through a certification process that requires educators to demonstrate their strong teaching capabilities and dedication to professional growth.
