Seaford Police Dept. Talks National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day

(SEAFORD, Del) – Law enforcement officers across the country are receiving thanks from their respective communities.

They’re thankful on the Eastern Shore with one police department saying that thanks goes beyond Law Enforcement Appreciation Day.

With the thanks being appreciated for what’s often considered a thankless job.

Chief Tyler Justice of the Seaford Police Department says the community’s appreciation means everything.

He says, “Because you do have to do some of the tough things sometimes that people don’t like. And when you have your community come out and say to you, ‘we appreciate you, we see you'”

Chief Justice says they’re appreciative of the thanks from their community every day.
