Salisbury PD Arrest Man for Assault, Multiple Counts of Rape

SALISBURY, Md. – The Salisbury Police Department arrested a man in connection with a sexual assault report on Thursday.

On Jan. 8, police took 37-year-old Stephen Montrell Holloway-Smith into custody after identifying him as the primary suspect in a sexual assault case reported on Dec. 27, 2025. Holloway-Smith was located by officers in the vicinity of the reported incident, which occurred within the 500 block of West Salisbury Parkway.

Holloway-Smith is charged with first degree assault, second degree burglary, and multiple counts of rape. He was committed to the Wicomico County Detention Center.
