Neighborhood Housing Services to host annual home buying seminar
MARYLAND. – Neighborhood Housing Services is hosting its annual first-time home buyer’s seminar.
The popular event helps give first-time home buyers of all ages the tools they need to get their credit scores up, budget and save for a down payment on a home. Housing coordinator Jackie Davis said the two-day course will equip attendees with valuable knowledge, and she encourages folks to register before the list is full.
“Be encouraged, because I know a lot of people may have some trepidation, they’re not sure, they question the economy, or things like that, but we always tell people first and foremost, we’re a no judgment zone,” Jackie said. “We see people with all kinds of varying credit scores and various credit issues, and we just need to know where people are at, so we know where to start.”
The seminar will take place in Dorchester County. To register, click here.
