Multiple Fire Companies Respond to Chimney Fire

PRESTON, Md. – The Federalsburg and Preston Volunteer Fire Companies responded to a residential chimney fire on Wednesday evening.

Crews responded to the 4600 block of Harmony Road, and found fire showing from a chimney on a single family dwelling. Firefighters used truck and ground ladders to address the fire from the roof. A total of 12 firefighters responded to the incident and returned to service in 90 minutes.
