Man arrested for violating Protection from Abuse order

FELTON, Del. – The Felton Police Department arrested a man for violating a Protection from Abuse Order.

45-year-old Michael Horvath of Middletown turned himself into police last Monday.

On December 31st, Felton Police were contacted in reference to a reported violation.

Throughout the investigation, Felton police determined through physical evidence the suspect contacted the female victim through writtern correspondence violating the conditions of the Protection from Abuse Order.

Horvath was identified as the suspect and following his arrest was processed for Criminal Contempt.

He was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court and released on his own recognizance pending a later court date.
