HALO Shelter Extends Hours Ahead of Low Temperatures
SALISBURY, Md. – Hope and Life Outreach (HALO) has extended their shelter hours ahead of this weekend’s winter freeze.
The shelter is open at night to women, mothers with children, and men who are experiencing homelessness. Additionally, HALO will be opening their facilities on Saturday, Jan. 24, and Sunday, Jan. 25, from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Organizers say breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
In a message posted to social media, HALO said, “If you see someone who needs a safe warm place to come, whether during the day or bed at night please send them our way.”
