Four Men Rob Food Runner in Dover

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a robbery that took place Friday evening.

At 5:43 p.m. on Jan. 2, officers responded to the 800 block of Carvel Drive following the report of a robbery. Upon arrival on the scene, police contacted the victim. He reported that he was delivering food in the area, and when he returned to his vehicle and found a suspect in the driver’s seat. Three more suspects approached on foot, before one indicated he was in possession of a firearm. The victim fled after he said the suspects demanded he turn over property.

The suspects stole items from the victim’s vehicle and left the area. They are described as four Black males.

Police have no additional leads to release at this time.
