Nathan Ennels 243x300

SEAFORD, Del. – The Delaware State Police have arrested a man after police say he assaulted an emergency medical technician (EMT) on Wednesday.

At 10:50 p.m. on Jan. 21, police responded to the 10000 block of Serenity Circle for a report of a combative person in an ambulance.

When troopers arrived, they learned that a man, later identified as 37-year-old Nathan Ennels, was being treated in an ambulance. While being treated, he punched an EMT in the face, damaging their glasses. Ennels was ultimately taken to an area hospital, and the EMT suffered minor injuries.

The following day, Ennels was released from the hospital and taken to Troop 5. He was charged with second degree assault and criminal mischief under $1000. He was arraigned and released on a $3,000 unsecured bond.
