Dover PD Investigating Armed Robbery of Electric Scooter

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating an armed robbery of an electric scooter that occurred Sunday night.

At 10:03 p.m. on Jan. 4, officers responded to the unit block Rockford Crossing for the report of a robbery. Upon arrival on the scene, police contacted the victim. He reported being approached by a Black male with a silver handgun who demanded he turn over his electric scooter. The victim ran away, and the suspect stole the scooter before fleeing with it. 

Police have no additional leads to release at this time.
