Dover Man Arrested on Human Trafficking, Drug Charges
DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department arrested a man on drug and human trafficking charges on Friday.
On Jan. 16, police responded to Bally’s Casino following a report of a physical altercation. During further investigation and a search of the hotel room, officers located the following:
- 10.1 grams of Crack Cocaine
- 3.63 grams of Heroin/Fentanyl
- 57.6 grams of PCP
- 19 doses of Alprazolam
- $465 in suspected drug proceeds
- Crack manufacturing equipment
Police were also able to determine that the suspect, identified as 44-year-old Antwan Freeman of Dover, was trafficking an adult female victim that was in the room with him.
Freeman was arrested without incident and charged with human trafficking (sexual servitude), trafficking an individual, and several drug charges. He was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institute on $130,200 cash bond.
