Death Investigation in Ocean City

OCEAN CITY, Md. – Police are investigating a death in Ocean City at a local resort. The Fire Department was dispatched to the resort on 109th Street for a person’s welfare on Saturday, January 3rd.

The person inside the room was found deceased by authorities.

Ocean City Police provided WMDT with a statement saying,

“The Ocean City Police Department is currently handling a death investigation at 10900 Coastal Highway. At this time, no foul play is suspected. The victim will be transported to the Office of Medical Examiner Office for an autopsy.”

Golden Sands Ocean Resort declined to comment on the matter.
