Car Totaled After Crashing with Tractor Trailer on Rt 13

DELMAR, Del. – The Delmar Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash that left one car totaled on Wednesday morning.

On Jan. 7, crews responded to southbound Route 13 (Sussex Highway) at Line Road. Two patients were contacted on scene, and declined evaluation from Emergency Medical Services personnel. Rescue 74 assisted the tow truck driver with loading the mangled vehicle and cleaning up debris.

Route 13 was closed for approximately 30 minutes while the accident was cleared.
