Car, House Damaged in Dover Shooting

DOVER, Del. – The Dover Police Department is investigating a shooting that occurred Tuesday evening.

At 7:01 p.m. on Jan. 6, police responded to the unit block of South New Street for the report of a shooting. Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle and a home that were struck by gunfire.

The ensuing investigation revealed that two victims were seated in a vehicle when they were shot at by unknown suspects. One of the victims subsequently exited the vehicle and ran away. No one was injured during this incident; however, the victim that ran away reportedly refused to cooperate with police.
