Wi-Hi boy’s basketball powers past Pocomoke to stay undefeated

SALISBURY, Md. – Wi-Hi boy’s basketball took down the Pocomoke Warriors 93-71 Thursday night in Salisbury.

The Tribe came out the gates firing on all cylinders, scoring 30 in a first quarter in which they conceded just 11 to their visitors.

The Warriors managed to slow down Wi-Hi in the second period, closing the gap to trail 45-35 at halftime.

Wi-Hi kept their foot on the gas in the second half, outscoring Pocomoke by 12 over the final two quarters fpr a decisive victory.

The Tribe move to 5-0 on the season behind a 24-point effort from Demar Brunson, with Tyson Hayward netting 18 and Vic Collins adding 16.

Pocomoke falls to 3-2, with Jamir Roberts leading the Warrior offense with 19 in the loss.
