West OC Your Doc’s In Moving to Philadelphia Ave

OCEAN CITY, Md. – In this week’s Health Beat, brought to you by TidalHealth, WMDT spoke with Jenna Wright, operations administrator for Your Doc’s In urgent care centers.

Wright spoke with us about about the upcoming consolidation of the West Ocean City clinic into the 10th Street Townsend Medical Center. She says this move supports TidalHealth’s overall mission to streamline care, consolidate services, to have more efficient care for patients.

“Urgent care can be the first step for someone when they’re not feeling well. And once they visit an urgent care — now that we’re combined with TidalHealth — we can get them additional care as needed,” she says.

Wright tells us that the new location, at 1001 Philadelphia Avenue, is the perfect place to serve the Ocean City community.

“There is a bus stop that runs right in front of the building and it stops right here. And I think that for not only visitors, but for the local community members, it’s a wonderful location for them,” she explains. “We are trying our best to make sure that the community is aware of this move, by posting on social media.”

The clinic continues to provide occupational health services, including physicals, pre-employment physicals, drug screens, and workman’s comp injuries. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., as well as from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the weekends. Occupational health hours are specialized to weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
