United Way Lower Eastern Shore to host 22nd Holiday Ball

CAMBRIDGE, Md. – The United Way of the Lower Eastern Shore will host its 22nd Holiday Ball this Saturday in Cambridge.

The theme of this year’s event is “Under the Northern Lights.” Attendees can expect a night filled with great food and an auction featuring local businesses, artists, wines, and vacation packages.

The auction is currently open and will remain active until 10 p.m. Saturday, allowing participants to bid even if they cannot attend the event. All proceeds from the auction will support the Eastern Shore community.

Ryan Jackson, Community Outreach Coordinator for the United Way Lower Eastern Shore, said, “The activities that night support our neighbors right here in Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico, and Worcester counties. We and our partners serve more than one in three local neighbors every year. This event is a key part of ensuring we have the resources to make that happen.”

Check out the organization’s social media throughout the week for a sneak peek at auction items and updates on the festivities at the Hyatt on Saturday evening.
