UPDATE: 18-Year-Old Turns Himself in for Shooting Incident in Georgetown

UPDATE: Delaware State Police have arrested 18-year-old Jedidiah Dorman of Georgetown in connection with a shooting that occurred last month.

On Monday, Dec. 1, Dorman turned himself in at Troop 4. He was charged with first degree reckless endangerment, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, and criminal mischief under $1,000. He was arraigned and released on a $15,000 unsecured bond.

 

GEORGETOWN, Del. – Delaware State Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred Wednesday evening.

At 5:20 p.m. on Nov. 19, troopers responded to the 22000 block of Lewes Georgetown Highway for a report of a residence that was struck by gunfire. The preliminary investigation revealed that an unknown suspect, fired an unknown number of shots that struck the residence.

Two adults were in the home at the time. No one was injured.

The Troop 4 Criminal Investigations Unit continues to investigate this incident. Detectives ask anyone who has relevant information to contact Detective H. Lingo by calling (302) 752-3798.
