The Town of Berlin hosting big New Years Eve Ball Drop

BERLIN, Md. – The Town of Berlin, gearing up for the New Year’s Eve Ball Drop.

On December 31st, the town will be hosting its New Year’s Eve Ball Drop in the downtown area. The drop is at 6 p.m., and correlates the same time as midnight in Berlin, Germany.

Town official, Allison Early, tells WMDT there will be tons of activities for the community. There will be a DJ, dance space, and kids are welcomed.

“The Town of Berlin is a very small town. It is a town of about 5,000 people. We all live in walking distance, many live downtown, and we can celebrate together. And with it being earlier, the kids can be involved as well.”

The ball will drop from the roof right across the street from the Atlantic Hotel right at 6 p.m.
