Scheduled Closures on MD 90 in Worcester for Patching

OCEAN CITY, Md. – The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration is scheduled to perform daytime pavement patching work at two locations on MD 90. 

The two locations that will be improved are eastbound MD 90 at eastbound US 50 (Ocean Gateway) and MD 90 at MD 589 (Racetrack Road).

Work is scheduled to begin on Tuesday, Dec. 16, and conclude on Friday, Dec. 19, weather permitting. Crews will work from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. for the duration of the project. 

For the MD 90 at eastbound US 50 location, drivers will be guided using eastbound US 50 to northbound US 113 (Worcester Highway) and back to MD 90. For the westbound MD 90 at  MD 589 location, drivers will be guided from westbound MD 90 to northbound MD 589 (Racetrack Road) to southbound US 113 and back to westbound MD 90. For the eastbound MD 90 at MD 589 location, drivers will be guided from eastbound MD 90 to northbound US 113 to southbound MD 589 and back to eastbound MD 90. 

Arrow boards, cones, and flaggers will be utilized to safely guide motorists through the work zone. Drivers should add extra commute times of up to 30 minutes during the work.
