Man arrested after residential fire in Pocomoke City investigated as arson

POCOMOKE CITY, Md. — Authorities have arrested a suspect following a residential structure fire that investigators determined was intentionally set in Pocomoke City, officials said.

The fire was reported Dec. 28 in the 400 block of Linden Avenue. Firefighters responded and were able to bring the blaze under control, preventing it from spreading to nearby homes. No injuries were reported.

Investigators from local fire and law enforcement agencies determined the fire was the result of arson after examining the scene and collecting evidence, officials said.
