Foodie Friday: Teera Thai

SALISBURY, Md. – WMDT’s Leila Weah visited Teera Thai for a new edition of Foodie Friday.

“We have a couple different things that we’re going to be trying here. First, we’re going to work our way through the appetizers, and then the main entree,” Leila said.

Delicious Dumplings 

“We’ve got these little dumplings; it’s nice and cold outside, guys. We’re hitting that chilly weather and it’s in this little steamer pot,” Leila said. “It’s so cute, the presentation is remarkable, so let’s take a little dip of this little dumpling.”

“It like melts in your mouth almost. The thinness of the dumpling paper, right when it hits your mouth, it’s like a burst of warmth,” she added.

Perfect Pad Thai 

“You don’t have Thai if you don’t have Pad Thai,” Leila said. “The protein she put in this is chicken, so you know me, I love citrus, so we’re going to do a nice generous squeeze of this lime all over.”

“I don’t even have to try the whole menu to tell you that this is probably top five; this definitely has a spot at the top five, maybe even top three,” she added.

Super Soup 

“I feel like I’m going to start floating in the air. You know in the cartoons when they smell the pie and they start floating?” Leila asked, laughing. “I’m so tempted to just sit here and just pick this up and drink it, because you want to eat it all nice and fresh.”
